Character Education Assembly
“Seth and the Moody Melix” provide a 45 minute interactive, multicultural musical journey designed to engage children’s love of music and learning while simultaneously reinforcing their everyday school and social curriculum by singing songs off their debut album “Hi, Hello, How do you do?”
The songs address topics such as:
- Anti-bullying
- Character Education
- Healthy Living
- The world around us!
- Teamwork
Songs correspond with learning standards in:
- ELA
- Health
- Social Studies
- Science
Your school’s curriculum will be reinforced through the joy of music, and your students will walk away singing the content of what they just heard and ultimately…what they just learned!
Character Education Residency
Educator and musician; Seth Warden, will visit your school over a course of a month to compose original songs with each grade level (k-5th) based on the “Guiding Principles” of Character Education:
- Respect
- Honesty
- Fairness
- Patience
- Trustworthiness
- Pride
The students will then rehearse and record their songs as Seth brings his recording technology into the classroom. All songs are compiled and professionally duplicated so that each student (or household) receives a finished product. A final performance is held so that each grade can perform “their” song for the school with “Seth and the Moody Melix” as their backing band.
